This Old Log Theater Wedding was one for the books! The fall colors, the styling, the florals, the venue, the people, THE LOVE. I just….it could not have gone any better. I am always honored to be involved in a couples’ special day.
Kelsey and Matt are one of my favorite couples, because they truly trusted me and let me do my photography thing throughout the day, but also because they did everything they wanted for their wedding day. They both surround themselves with lovely, funny, and emotional friends and family, which just lends itself to wonderful photographs.
The backdrop for this Old Log Theater Wedding was a beautiful array of the fall colors towering over the ceremony spot. The outdoor ceremony was set up with so many florals, and those just made for a very painterly setting. As the guests began to fill the seats, the elements all came together for us to witness the love of these two people. That love was shown for the entire duration of the wedding day. The tears, the laughter, the genuine emotions coming from everyone was just something special.
The Old Log Theater was a new venue for me, and that is MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! A wedding taking place somewhere I have never been will always spark my creative mind like a match. The owners were so willing to work with me and some ideas I had for specific photographs, which included some portraits in the actual theater and playing with some smoke bombs in the parking lot after closing time!
Here are some photographs from the wedding day to better explain what I’m describing. I hope you enjoy scrolling through this colorful, unique wedding as much as I enjoyed creating the photographs.
Shout out to this amazing team of vendors on this Old Log Theater Wedding!
